Working With Children
Anyone working with people under the age of 18 at Thirroul JFC is required to provide a Working With Children number to the club. This applies to all coaches and managers, including those in charge of senior teams who may have a player under the age of 18 train or play with them.
Trainers, committee members, referee coordinators and anyone else involved in a role with people under the age of 18 (not referees) is required to obtain a WWC number.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A WWC NUMBER
Provide your WWC Number to your club. Your club will then verify your WWC Number on line and keep a record of the verification.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A WWC NUMBER
You must apply for a WWC Check and obtain a WWC Number. This is free for volunteers.

There are exemptions but Thirroul JFC has decided on a blanket policy requiring anyone at the club working with people under the age of 18 to provide a WWC Number.
If you have lost your WWC Number, you can retrieve it online at Office of the Children’s Guardian
