Thunder, Pruks win District League awards

Thunder Reserve Grade coach Kevin Lewis accepted the 2018 District League Champions trophy on behalf of the team at the Men’s Premiership Gala Awards held last Friday night at Villa D’Oro Function Centre.

Striker Oscar Pruks was also awarded the Golden Boot for his 26 goals, the most by any player in the District League Reserve Grade competition. As Oscar was unable to attend, the award was accepted by Kevin on his behalf.

Thirroul junior Nick Ryan took out Referee of the Year after this season becoming the youngest referee to take charge of a Premier League First Grade Grand Final.
